Precious Parcels birthday plaque cake

The lovely Natalie, owner of Precious Parcels celebrated her birthday and I was thrilled to be asked to make her a surprise birthday cake in the style of her plaques. I hope she likes it!!!

These cupcakes were made for a 25th wedding anniversary. The customer requested a theme of black, white and silver. I made a selection of butterflies, flowers and hearts with "25" and of course I added a sprinkling of edible silver glitter!!!!

These were the cupcakes at the venue, which the customer kindly sent to me..... they look great!!!!

This was my first cake that was successfully sent via courier. I have never been so stressed!!!!! The customer said

"Went perfectly! Everyone loved the cake and there's no more now! It also arrived in mint condition so thanks for the great packaging!"

As I have mentioned before, I love all the comments I recieve about my cakes. Imagine how pleased I was when Ella's mummy had reviewed my cake on her blog!!!! Below is what she wrote.

'On Saturday 13th, my eldest daughter turned 5. About a week before her birthday I spotted a post on twitter which, for some unknown reason, I felt the need to click on the link… It took me to the wonderful blog of Rakhee from Leicester and a whole host of adorable cake images!
I just couldn’t help myself. I had to buy one for Ella!

When asked what I wanted, I was so vague… “Pink, Ella, 5″ was about all I managed to get out. I left the finer details in the hands of Rakhee…

Imagine my delight when I arrived in Leicester to see this beautiful work of art. It couldn’t have been more suited to Ella, her personality and her party theme. The attention to detail was just stunning. You can see for yourself!

Oh, and I must add, that this was DELICIOUS! I don’t really like cake. I liked this cake. I might just order one on a weekly basis to treat myself.
